Who we are

The Active Business and Civil Society Party (ABCSP) is a South African political movement founded on a simple idea: the people who build businesses, run NGOs, teach children, heal patients and protect neighbourhoods already know what works. Politics should listen to them.

We are not a party of slogans. We are a party of practitioners. Our membership includes spaza-shop owners and CEOs, nurses and pastors, teachers and engineers, students and retirees — united by a refusal to accept that things must remain broken.

To build a South Africa where active business and active civil society work in partnership with government to deliver dignity, opportunity and safety in every community.
